PHOENIX, Arizona - Rincon Partners, a vertically-integrated, full-service real estate investment and management firm, announced Scott Ferguson has joined the company as Vice President of Acquisitions and will lead its new regional acquisition office in Dallas, TX.

"Scott has spent his entire career in the Dallas area focused on multifamily real estate in Texas and the Southwest. We think this deep knowledge and experience will help Rincon acquire exceptional properties in these target markets. Scott will join Carson Hammer, Director of Acquisitions located in Rincon's Atlanta, GA acquisition office, as part of Rincon's acquisition team."

A seasoned real estate professional, Scott has more than 25 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and asset management. He has closed over $1.6 billion of multifamily acquisition and disposition transactions during his career. Most recently, he served as Vice President Asset Management / Acquisitions for GFI Capital Resources Group where he was responsible for $178 million of multifamily acquisitions, $471 million of dispositions, and asset management of GFI's multifamily properties. Prior to GFI, Scott held acquisition leadership positions with Archon Residential, Miles Properties, and UDR.

Scott has a Masters of Business Administration - Real Estate Investment Analysis degree from University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Business Administration - Finance degree from The University of Texas at Austin. He also holds a Texas Real Estate Brokers license and a CCIM designation.
